A juvenile street vendor who denied selling coconut water on the side of the road without a business licence was granted bail ahead of his trial yesterday.

The 17-year-old was accused of operating a business without a licence after officers alleged found him selling coconut water on Village Road without the required permits on September 19.

During the hearing before Deputy Chief Magistrate Andrew Forbes yesterday, the youngster denied the allegation and the matter was adjourned to November 16 for trial.

He was granted $500 bail until that time.
