A MAN is in hospital after he was shot on Wednesday.
Police said shortly after 10pm, officers received a complaint of a male being shot on Finlayson Street, Bain Town. Officers responded and on their arrival at the scene they were informed that a man and a woman were at home when they heard a knock at the door.
The male went to see who was at the door. As he opened it, a man pushed his way into the house. A struggle then ensued between the occupant and the assailant, who discharged a firearm injuring the man.
The suspect escaped and moments later the victim was transported to hospital via private vehicle. His condition is not known at this time.
An investigation into this matter continues.
