ACTIVIST Lincoln Bain was yesterday granted $500 bail after he denied breaking a man’s glasses last year.
The 44-year-old appeared before Deputy Chief Magistrate Andrew Forbes accused of damaging Hiram Kelly’s Progressive Lens and Frame eyeglasses in November 2020.
He was arraigned with Tiara McCartney, 19, who was also accused of causing damage to the $644 eyeglasses.
Yesterday, both accused denied the allegations and the case was adjourned to June 14 for trial.
Bain and McCartney, who are represented by Wayne Munroe, QC, were each granted $500 bail in the interim.
