THREE men were charged with armed robbery in the Magistrate’s Court yesterday.
Police arrested Kingsley Choute, 26, Derek Hudson, 25, and Wilson Ford, 20, after they were accused of using a handgun to rob a woman of $300 cash, which belonged to Jet Wash laundromat, on March 15.
Due to the nature of the offence, they were not required to enter a plea and the matter was adjourned to May 27 for service of a voluntary bill of indictment (VBI).
Choute, Hudson and Ford were remanded to the Bahamas Department of Correctional Services until that time.
They all have a right to apply to the Supreme Court for bail.
