Some years ago I had an English client who had a marvelous way of telling you how to overcome Murphy’s law. “If anything can go wrong, it will go wrong, and usually does”. He would say a gentleman needs a pair of braces (suspenders ), a belt and a piece of string to ensure that his trousers stay up.
On entering COVID lockdown last year, and everyone was working from home on the Internet, my Cable Bahamas Rev connection could become a little sketchy during certain hours of the day. So, I called the BTC Flow people and got them to give me a backup Internet service. So I now had a pair of braces, and a belt and felt fairly comfortable. But this morning, when I logged in for my Zoom group exercise class, between both of my Internet Service Providers they could barely give me one bar on my WIFI. I think I’m ready for that piece of string now. Is there anyone else in the business?

Get use to it Bruce. You're living in a country that may soon be without internet service as you have come to know it. In the not too distant future you will likely need a reliable home generator, a large satellite dish with 360-180 degree swivel capability and clear line of sight to the skies, and a very expensive realtime upload and download link to a geosynchronous satellite. Fuel for your generator and bad weather (very cloudy skies) will then be your only two main concerns from the standpoint of being able to stay online.
