A SAN Salvador woman has been ordered to stay away from a woman she allegedly assaulted until the matter is fully ventilated in court.
Police arrested Samantha Burrows, 38, after she was accused of ripping Sandera Johnson’s shirt during an argument in Cockburn Town on October 12.
When she appeared before Magistrate Shaka Serville yesterday, Burrows denied one count each of assault and damage.
Her case was subsequently adjourned to April 2022 for trial. In the meantime, she was granted $2,000 bail.
Burrows, who said she has been residing in San Salvador for the past seven years, was warned not to interfere with the complainant or any of the other witnesses in her case.
If she does, she could risk being imprisoned until the completion of her trial.
