TWO men and a woman are in police custody after officers from the Drug Enforcement Unit found them with a handgun and ammunition, along with a quantity of suspected marijuana.
Police said at around 8.30pm on Friday, DEU officers with a search warrant entered a home at Milton Street, off East Street and confiscated the items.
The drugs have an estimated street value of $720, police said.
Authorities also confiscated a high-powered weapon, with over 40 rounds of ammunition.
Police said at around 10.15am, officers of the Mobile Division acting on information went into the Foxdale Subdivision where a weapon was retrieved from a residence.
No arrests were made. Active investigations continue.
