Is new Providence under hurricane watch? To the meteorologist, this system does not make sense. What we need is a system that automatically causes certain actions. We are a hurricane prone country. Whenever a storm warning related to a hurricane occurs, certain actions should ,by law, follow. Whenever a hurricane warning for an island is posted, certain actions should follow. Meaning, once a hurricane warning is posted, the government needs to make law to make it mandatory for all agencies to close and preparations be in place. This school closing at noon is ridiculous when parents have to pick children up. Who watches them when the parents go to work. How can the government tell you to prwpare when you are still at work? Certain actions need to follow once a hurricane warning is posted.
