Funeral service for Bruce “Country Man” Farrington, aged 52 years of Zion Hill, Cat Island, who died on 21st, August, 2012, will be held on Saturday, 8th September, 2012, at 11:00a.m., at New Bethlehem Baptist Church, Independence Drive. Officiating will be Rev. Dr. Everette J. Brown, assisted by Rev. Tyrone Laing, Rev. Joseph Saunders, Minister Cecil Higgs, Minister Bernal Bullard, Minister Derek Munroe and other Ministers of the Gospel. Interment follows in the Southern Cemetery, Cowpen & Spikenard Roads. He is survived by his father: George Farrington Sr.; one daughter: Shenique Farrington; seven brothers: George Jr., Cecil, Simeon, Courtney, Joseph, Albert and Levi; three sisters: Doreen and Dorcas Farrington of Cat Island and Lucymae Rolle of San Salvador; two uncles: Charles Farrington of Freeport, Grand Bahama and Cleveland Newbold of Miramar, Florida; six aunts: Sylvia Munnings, Viola Strachan, Margaret Rolle, Olivia and Agnes Farrington and Fermina Feaste; nine nephews: Durell, Jason, Kino, Deniko, Courtney Jr., Cordero, Theron, Delano and Tony; fourteen nieces: Stacy, Janice, Georgia, Indeira,, Latoya, Tonique, Shonique, Chantise, Shavonne, Shann, Shenell, Kendira, Joniqua and Genice; three sisters-in-law: Joan, Sharon and Salome Farrington; one brother-in-law: Rod Rolle; other relatives and friends including: Henry, Mary, Lucinda, April, Christine, Joseph Feaster Sr., Lillis, Inez McKenzie, Supt. Elaine Sands, Hillard, Zelma, Rev. Berthon, Emrick, Kirk, Joseph Jr., Prescola, Rosalee, Herbert, Violet, Charles, Sheryl, William and Inez Farrington and their children, Effiemae Bonimy, Alfred Dean and Family, Lionel Strachan and family, Zephaniah Strachan, and family, Carter Stubbs and family, the children of Ginette Poitier, the children of Tina Stubbs, the children of Edna and Willie Bonaby, The Thompson, Dean Larrimore, Webb, Smith, Rolle, Bonimy, Stubbs, Armbrister, Ambrose, King, Wilson, Hepburn, Miller, Williams, Seymour families, the entire settlement of Bennett’s Harbour, Dumfries, Arthur’s Town and Orange Creek, Cat Island; and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention. Relatives and friends may pay their last respects at Newbold Brothers Chapel, Palmetto Avenue & Acklins Street off Market and East Streets on Friday from 10:00a.m., to 6:00p.m., Saturday at the church from 10:00a.m., until service time.
