Funeral Service for the Late Lela Elaine Gibbs, 81 years of #83 Dunmore Avenue, Chippingham, and formerly of Landrail Point, Crooked Island, will be held on Sunday December 8th, 2013, 10:00 a.m. at Centreville Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 5th Terrace, Centreville. Pastor Hugh A. Roach assisted by Pastors Barrington Braynen and Michael Toote will officiate. Interment will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens, John F. Kennedy Drive & Gladstone Road.
Left to cherish her fond memories are; her Grandchildren: Tamara Sands, Tino Gibbs-Fernander, Lawerence Williams Jr. and Domini Gibbs; Great-grandchildren: Treasure Fernander and Devon Gibbs; Daughter-in-law: Madalyn “Terri” Gibbs; Sons-in-law: Denwrick Taylor and Lawrence Williams Sr.; Adopted Children: Kennedy Bethel (Patricia) and Tamico Brown (Fabienne); Adopted Grand-children: Marco, Pedro, Durran, Kendira Bethel, Karrington & Khirsten Brown, Shantell Moss, Quindero Moore, McQuessa Seymour, T’Noy Clarke, Makhila Fernander and Rayven Belle; Sisters-in-law: Lelia Gibbs-Fountain, Florence Gray, Laurie Miller, Mary Marshall, Paula Holder, Beverley Allen, Gweneth and Eloise Gibson; Brother-in-law: Noel Gibbs; Numerous nieces and nephews too many to mention and a host of other relatives and friends including: Lillian Rolle & Family, Ernestine Douglas & Family, Alice Sands & Family, Dorothy Ritchie & Family, Anne Burrco & Family, The Rabley Family, Anita Burrows & Family, Jacqueline Armstrong & Family, Joyce Fawkes & Family, The Finley Family, Lecia Russell & Family, Marguerite & Family, Heather Wood & Family, Pastor Silas & Ruth McKinney, The Pastor and Members of the Centerville Seventh-Day Adventist Church, Caretakers: Ember, Claudia, Sharon & Pat, Dr. Herbert Orlander, The Bahamas Red Cross Society, The Chippingham & Landrial Point, Crooked Island Communities, The staff at Princess Margaret Hospital, The staff of John Bull Co. Friends may pay their last respects at Bethel Brothers Morticians, #34 Nassau Street on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Sunday at the church from 9:00 a.m. until service time.
