Ms. Marvadell "Marva" Laverne Gilcott, 49
a resident of Davis Street, Fox Hill, will be held at St. Mark's Native Baptist Church, Romer Street, Fox Hill, on Saturday 3rd January, 2015 at 11am. Officiating will be Rev. Dr. Carrington S. Pinder, assisted by other Ministers of the Gospel. Interment follows in Woodlawn Gardens, Soldier Road.
Left to cherish her memories are her 5 children: James, Jerome & Kayshell Coakley, Regan & Ira Cooper; grandchildren: Jenearo, Keshon, Dennis, Anna, Cira, Amberique, Jerome, James, Reayan & Reagan; 3 sisters: Cherrylee Nielle & Paulamae Williams of Miami, Fl. & Michelle Finley; 4 brothers: Raymond Finley, Ian, Jetson & Johnell Gilcott; 9 aunts: Blanche & Coralee Demeritte, Shirley Armbrister, Sandra Kerr, Rosemary Burrows, Arnett Davis & Millicent Dean; 5 uncles: Leroy, Harvey Jr., Maxwell, Anthony & Anvil Demeritte; 11 nieces: Lashawnda, Darlene, Keva, Wesleyann, Dwana, Tanaz, Telitha, Elizabeth, Johnell, Janell, Shawniece & Shukwanya; 8 nephews: Jair, Jermaine, Jamal, Darren, Matthew, Terrell, Shayne & Timothy; 2 brothers-in-law: Charlie Williams & Wesley Poitier; sister-in-law: Sonia Gilcott; other relatives & friends including: Sher McKenzie & family, Maxine Knowles & family, Mary Davis & family, Helen Davis & family, Godfrey Davis & family, the entire Demeritte family, the entire Poitier family, Sammy Clarke & family, Michelle Gaitor & family, Jackie Camacho, Nurse Rolle & family, Jackie & family, the entire Davis Street family, the Fox Hill Community, the entire Sandilands Rehabilitation Centre, the staff at the Princess Margaret Hospital & other relatives & friends too numerous to mention.
Friends may pay their last respects at Demeritte's Funeral Home, Market Street, from 10-6:00 p.m. on Friday & on Saturday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
