We should not live to please man but live to please God.

It is amazing how much consideration we give to the thoughts and opinions of others, when in fact only God's opinion should matter. Many Sundays (especially in the mornings) I come to church and witness a disservice done to the Almighty. If it was not for the praise team, I don't know where a lot of us would be. I don't know how many of us know that we should not wait until we come to church to praise God. That should be ceaseless due to the mere fact that there is always something to give God thanks for.

The reality is our life should be that of worship to God. Once we live as such, God will be pleased with us. Once that worship is unto God we are on the right track.

We have to live our lives as such, simply because it is the way God has design it to be. Secondly, because people are too expensive, you can spend a lifetime trying to please people when that effort needs to be made toward God. He and his instructions should be THE audience that we live for. When you think about it, it is God alone who has heaven or hell to put us in, not people. Only His thoughts count for our lives. What He says we should give ear to. When we put people in the place of God, we set ourselves up for hurt and or disappointment.

The arms of flesh will fail us the Bible says. Not may fail but will fail. Therefore, God is the audience that we need to live for. No one else but God, He is all that matters.

  • Yes - Bahamians have given the FNM and PLP chances and it's time we give someone else a chance to see what they can do for the country
  • No - Bahamians will never vote anything other than the FNM or PLP into power
  • Maybe - It depends on who is a part of this new organisation and what they offer that's different from the FNM and PLP
