DETAILS of an incident in which 26 prisoners were not returned to Her Majesty's Prison after court proceedings on Tuesday remained sketchy last night.

Minister of National Security gave a brief interview to ZNS TV news last night acknowledging the mistake, but no details were released to the private media.

According to Mr Turnquest, the 26 remand prisoners slept at the Central Police Station on Tuesday night after they failed to be returned to Her Majesty's Prison.

Title: Why?

Why weren't they returned? Did the prison bus break down? If that was so couldn't they get a regular bus and fill it with the same machine gun armed officers and SWAT brigade that escorted the Barefoot Bandit around town to make it the few miles back to HMP@ FH?
