A MAN disarmed a gunman who broke into his home on Thursday morning, police said.
The incident occurred shortly after 1.30am. The resident was at his home located at First Street, Coconut Grove, when a male intruder broke into his home armed with a shotgun, police said.
A struggle followed, resulting in the resident disarming the intruder, who fled on foot. The shotgun was turned over to the police.
Investigations are continuing.
