Cable Bahamas is now poised to be purchased by Digicel, as the Sale of Cable Bahamas would have been a hurdle to Dennis O'brien if any US properties were involved. What Butler is not saying is how Cable Bahamas has synchronised expansion and purchasing plans with Digicel. He is not telling you about the regular meetings with Digicel's Technical leadership from a planning perspective. Bahamian investors will benefit from the rise of the share price value, but the larger goal here is the potential Digicel purchase. The Government of course will be delighted to see the investment proceeds go back to The National Insurance Board which now owns about 38% of Cable Bahamas. In the end the Bahamian People will suffer again as another Bahamian grown technology Company will go in foreign hands the way of BTC. #tinkaboutit
