Prior to the verbal confrontation, Valentino Seymour, 19, Anwar Seymour 30, Edward Carroll, 24, and Dominique Carroll, 27, stood handcuffed before Chief Magistrate Roger Gomez.
The Court One Magistrate told them they were being charged with attempted murder.
It is claimed that the four, on Saturday, April 21, tried to kill Kermit Evans.
Evans of Yellow Elder was at a cemetery in Western New Providence when he was attacked by a group of men shortly before 4pm Saturday.
The victim was attending the funeral of a friend when he was brutally attacked, receiving a gunshot injury to his back, multiple stab wounds and a head injury.
The accused were not allowed to enter a plea to the charge due to its nature and were remanded to prison until completion of the trialTheir case will be forwarded directly to the Supreme Court for trial through a Voluntary Bill of Indictment expected to be served on July 5.
