Weather warning

THE public should expect adverse weather conditions to last until late Thursday, Department of Meteorology officials said yesterday.

Weather forecaster Neil Armstrong told The Tribune that an upper level trough near the north west Bahamas was creating unstable conditions.

As a result, Mr Armstrong said widespread showers, thunderstorms and localised flooding are expected. He said the conditions are expected to subside by early Friday morning.

Officials expect three to four inches of rain over the next few days.
