Father's Day Service highlights at St George's Anglican Church

ON Sunday, June 15, the valley was thundering with all the men at the Father’s Day service held at St George’s Anglican Church. The guest preacher was Bishop Cornell Moss- Bishop of Guyana, who delivered the sermon.

The sermon focused on people’s relationship with God and each other. He encouraged the fathers present to first have a real relationship with God and then their family, as this will begin the change we need to see in a society where chaos, violence and destruction are the order of the day.

The bishop also encouraged fathers to stand up for what is right so that their sons and daughters can continue to see them make positive contributions to the society.
At the service, men from the congregation who are fulfilling this charge were honoured; they were David Ferguson, Kurth Wallace, Kevin Davies, Simeon Dawkins, Kingsley Wilkinson, Father Ivan Timmy Eldon and Archdeacon Kingsley Knowles.
