Stingrays get 18-6 win over Jets, Pros top Warriors

WEEK two of the Commonwealth American Football League saw the defending champions move back into the win column, while the league’s newest team failed to take the field for the second consecutive week.

The V8 Fusion Stingrays capped off the weekend with an 18-6 win over the BaOilCo Jets yesterday for their first win of the season. The Stingrays moved to 1-1 while the Jets fell to 1-1 in their season debut.

In week one, the Jets won by default over new club, the Kingdom Warriors. The Warriors conceded another game this weekend, this time to the Orry J Sands Pros who moved 2-0 on the year.

In week three, the Kingdom Warriors will face the Stingrays, Saturday November 1, while the Pros will face the Jets Sunday, November 2. Both games take place at 1:30pm at the DW Davis field.
