BBF COACHING
CLINIC
THE Bahamas Basketball Federation has announced that it is scheduled to hold a Level 1 Basketball Coaches Clinic specifically designed for basketball mentors that are employed in the Government Secondary Schools Sports Association and the Bahamas Association of Independent Secondary Schools.
The clinic is all set for 9am to 5pm daily Friday to Sunday (September 26-28) at the Kendal Isaacs Gymnasium. Of significance is the fact that FIBA Americas will be sending one of its international instructors to serve as the “chief clinician,” thus allowing for candidates to be internationally licenced.
The federation is hopeful that both the BAISS and the GSSSA will allow for and encourage its primary, junior and senior high coaches to become candidates. There will be a $50 levy per person, which covers the entire course.
The federation would like to express gratitude for the consideration and approval of this undertaking. The value of the partnership in this event should not be overlooked.
