THE New Providence Softball Association hosted a double header in the Banker’s Field at the Baillou Hills Sporting Complex on Saturday night.
In the ladies’ opener, the Johnson’s Lady Truckers whitewashed the Black Scorpions 15-0 in three innings via the mercy rule. In the men’s feature contest, the Commando Security Truckers stopped the Jmel Panthers 10-0.

Mechelle Moss had a perfect 3-for-3 night with a RBI and three runs scored, Ruthann Simms was 2-for-3 with three RBI and two runs and Shaquelle Smith was 2-for-2 with two RBI and two runs scored to pace the winners.
Valencia Gibson was the winning pitcher and Sherry Bowleg was tagged with the loss.
Truckers 10, Panthers 0
Lamar Watkins had a perfect 2-for-2 night with three RBI and two runs scored and Ramon Johnson was 2-for-3 with a RBI and two runs scored in the win. Eugene Pratt picked up the win and Bronson Lowe was tagged with the loss.
