NPCA TIME

TRIALS

THE New Providence Cycling Association is scheduled to hold its stage team relay time trials 8:05am Sunday. The race will start and finish at Baha Mar Boulevard. The entry fee is $30.

The event will be four legs of the relay and must have at least three cyclists. The categories are open male and female, open mixed with at least one female and juniors.

PLAYOFFS

THE Bahamas Rugby Union is scheduled to hold its Heineken Cup playoffs this weekend in Grand Bahama and New Providence on Saturday.

At the Freeport Rugby Centre in Grand Bahama, Freeport will play the Cuckoos at 2:30pm. Then at the Winton Rugby Centre, starting at 3pm, Baillou will take on the Buccaneers.

Congratulations to Freeport Rugby Club who are the league champions and go into the playoff stages as the top seed.
