Buddy Hield had a quiet second game for the New Orleans Pelicans as they went down 122-114 to the Golden State Warriors in New Orleans on Friday night.
Hield played 17 minutes and hit one of six shots for two points. He also let a pass slip through his hands and out of bounds when he was wide open under the basket.
The Warriors' Kevin Durant finished with 30 points and 17 rebounds and Klay Thompson added 28 points as the Warriors bounced back emphatically from a surprising season-opening loss.
The Pelicans also lost their opener 107-102 to the Denver Nuggets. Their next game is at San Antonio Spurs on Saturday night.
