THE Bahamas Lawn Tennis Association congratulates Zamere Davis who was top of his Pool (B) in the under-10 division at the end of round robin match play over the weekend.
Participating at the U-10 USTA Tennis tournament in Coral Springs, Davis defeated Andrei Zbant 4-2, 4-1.
He also defeated Martin McGrath 4-0, 4-1 and Miguel Sosa 4-0, 4-0.
"He was undefeated in his pool. Davis would then emerge from his Pool to face the winners of Pool B and C, finishing third in the U10 division.
"Chase Newbold also participated in this event, but he lost his matches but received some good experience in Pool A," said a press release.
