Ferguson team forecast to win BPSU election after ballot

BAHAMAS Public Service Union (BPSU) President Kimsley Ferguson and his team were unofficially forecasted to win the union’s election last night.

Union members cast ballots yesterday for those vying for top posts in the organisation. Last night, Mr Ferguson said the union did not have all the official numbers as they were missing the results from Freeport. Yet, he said his team, the Workers Team, was still “ahead by so much and we’ve won unofficially”.

He said: “I’m excited about it simply because I wouldn’t have completed some of the things that I would’ve liked to complete. I have the obligation and responsibility to try pull this organisation out a hole.”
