TWO men were granted $6,000 bail yesterday after allegedly being found with a component part of a 9mm pistol.

Leroy Barr, 32, and Emerson Rolle, 47, faced Senior Magistrate Carolyn Vogt-Evans on a shared charge of possession of a component part of a firearm.

On July 18 in New Providence, the accused, being concerned together, were found by authorities with the component part of a black Ruger 9mm pistol.

They both pleaded not guilty to the charge.

As there were no objections, each was granted $6,000 bail. Under the conditions of their bail they are expected to be fitted with a monitoring device. They are also expected to sign in at the nearest police station every Sunday by 7pm with Barr set to sign in at Wulff Road Station and Rolle at the Grove Police Station.

Their trial is expected to start on October 3.
