A MAN was charged in Grand Bahama last week with threatening to kill former Free National Movement vice-chairman Richard Johnson.
Police told The Tribune Mr Johnson was at a restaurant in Grand Bahama on January 22 when he received a call that made him fear for his life. He reported the matter to police, leading to an investigation.
As a result, police arrested Lathor Thompson, 24, and charged him with threats of death.
Thompson pleaded not guilty before Senior Magistrate Laquay Laing on Thursday and was granted $3,000 bail with one surety.
He is scheduled to return to court in April.
