A pet supply store teamed up with the Bahamas Humane Society to give pets in need of a home a free pamper this week.
On Monday, Pet Oasis provided grooming services for animals at the Humane Society.
Mikell Cates, senior groomer at Pet Oasis, said the inspiration was to give back to the community.
Corey Rolle, a veterinary technician at the Humane Society, said: “We don’t have a lot of hands on help in the medical field with the technicians, usually the techs are the ones doing the grooming and we have so many animals and so much work to do that we don’t really get to groom them as fast as we really should or could. So it definitely helps with them coming in to do it for us.”
