A MAN was remanded to custody yesterday after being accused of robbing another man at gunpoint of $6,000 in cash outside his residence in The Grove last week.

Chief Magistrate Roberto Reckley arraigned Dennis Ingraham, 28, on a charge of armed robbery.

Prosecutors allege that on March 2, Ingraham, along with accomplices, held Stryker Smith at gunpoint inside his vehicle and robbed him of $6,000 in cash.

During the same incident, the defendant allegedly stole a gold chain, a gold bracelet, two gold rings, and a black Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5. The total value of the stolen property was $9,600.

Ingraham was not required to enter a plea at this stage. His case will proceed to the Supreme Court via a voluntary bill of indictment (VBI).

He was informed of his right to apply for bail through the higher court.

He will be remanded to the Bahamas Department of Correctional Services until his VBI is served on May 29.

Inspector Deon Barr served as the prosecutor.
