A MAN has been ordered to fully reimburse a victim after admitting to stealing their motorcycle last weekend.
Senior Magistrate Algernon Allen Jr arraigned 31-year-old Julian Johnson on charges of stealing and receiving.
Johnson stole a green 2024 Yamaha XC115BD motorcycle, valued at $2,420, belonging to Rovantae Smith from Edward Avenue sometime between March 7 and 8.
The defendant pleaded guilty to stealing and accepted the facts in the case. The receiving charge was withdrawn.
Johnson was ordered to fully reimburse the complainant or face a three-month prison sentence.
Sergeant 3008 Forbes served as the prosecutor.
