THE Government Secondary School Sports Association (GSSSA) held its official elections this past Wednesday at the C.H. Reeves auditorium, where members voted to fill key official leadership positions for the upcoming 2025 season.
Vandyke Bethel was elected as the president of the association.
Joining him on the executive team is Neketa Sears Knowles as first vice president and Denycko Knowles as second vice president.
Fionne Tucker was chosen to serve as treasurer, with Sidlaine Justilien elected as assistant treasurer.
The secretary position went to Charma Johnson, while Zana Kemp Pratt was named assistant secretary.
The newly elected officers will now take on the responsibility of guiding the association as it continues its work in organising and managing the government inter-school sports programmes in The Bahamas.
