A 34-year-old man was granted bail yesterday after being accused of stealing $1,000 in cash from his grandmother on Christmas Day.
Prosecutors allege Ravon Armbrister stole $1,000 in mixed currency from Glenda Mae Bain at a residence on Ameryllus Avenue.
Armbrister pleaded not guilty to a charge of stealing before Senior Magistrate Kendra Kelly-Burrows.
He was granted bail in the amount of $1,000 with one or two sureties and was ordered to sign in at the Grove Police Station on the first Monday of each month.
His trial is scheduled to begin on February 18.
