A MAN who admitted to breaking into his estranged wife’s home on Marine Drive, but denied threatening to kill her, was granted bail.

Prosecutors allege that Wallace Thompson, 54, broke into the home of Katherine Ferguson and threatened to kill her on January 11.

While Thompson pleaded guilty to housebreaking before Senior Magistrate Algernon Allen Jr, he pleaded not guilty to threats of death.

Thompson’s bail was set at $2,000 with one or two sureties. Under the terms of his bail, Thompson must sign in at the Western Police Station every Monday by 6pm.

Thompson’s trial is set to begin on February 26.

Sergeant 3004 Forbes was the prosecutor.
