A WOMAN accused of stealing more than $61,000 from two investment companies last summer was granted bail.
Prosecutors allege that Ulease Miller, 42, stole $61,391.11 from Solpin Investment Ltd and Pinsol Investment Ltd, to which she had access by reason of her employment, between June 10, 2025 and July 5, 2025.
Miller pleaded not guilty to a charge of stealing by reason of employment before Magistrate Lennox Coleby.
Miller’s bail was set at $5,000 with one or two sureties. Under the terms of her bail, she must sign in at the East Street South Police Station every Monday and Friday by 6pm.
Miller will appear before Magistrate Kendra Kelly Burrows for a trial date fixture on January 20.
Domek Rolle represented the accused, while Assistant Superintendent of Police Lincoln McKenzie was the prosecutor.
