A MAN in his late 30s was found dead with stab wounds to his upper body at his residence on Daffodil Avenue yesterday.
Press Liaison Officer Chief Superintendent Sheria King said that around 1pm, a co-worker requested a welfare check after becoming concerned about the man’s whereabouts. Police arrived at the scene, breached the residence, and discovered the man unresponsive inside.
Chief Superintendent King said it was unclear how long the victim’s body had been in the home. An autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause and time of death.
She confirmed the matter is being treated as a death investigation.
Police said the victim’s loved ones became concerned after not hearing from him for about two days.
