Honouring an indefatigable leader
SHE has been giving her all to Christian ministry for the past 62 years, but Minister Dr Barbara Brennen Williams is showing no signs of slowing down.
The Christ in us
This is a topic that is often misunderstood, but it is important and worthy of deeper discussion and consideration. Christ lives in us to the extent that we allow the Holy Spirit to reside in us, and we live as our Saviour lived. We are all sinners and scripture (the Apostle Paul) makes this point clearly in Romans 3:23 (KJV): “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” Like most things in life, God gives us a choice, and we must be willing to yield to the presence of the Holy Spirit and enable Christ to face and handle our challenges and burdens.
Beware of life in the fast lane
True biblical Christianity at it’s finest is the real deal, and offers what no other worldview offers: an empty tomb. Mohammed is dead! So much for Islam. Siddhartha Gautama is dead! So much for Buddhism. Confucius is dead! So much for the adherents of Confucius. But Jesus is alive!

God is still in control of our paths
Notwithstanding the trials and challenges that we shall encounter along life’s journey, as believers we are comforted in knowing that God remains in control. The Apostle Paul wrote in Philippians 4:19 (KJV): “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”
Meditation
When we think of “before and after” situations our minds may run on the medical makeovers that are being televised regularly on certain channels. There are so many drastic changes which may be made to facial features that persons seem hardly recognisable after it is over. I wonder to what degree personalities are altered by the improved self-esteem that is advertised.
