Funeral services for the Late Mr. Thomas Rupert Sears age 73 yrs of Soursop Street, Pinewood Gardens will be held on Friday December 14th, 2018 at Bethel Baptist Church, Meeting Street, Nassau at 10:30 a.m. Officiating is Rev. Dr. Timothy Stewart assisted by other Ministers of the Gospel. Interment in the Church Cemetery.
Thomas Sears was preceded in death by his parents: Lunnon and Dorothy Sears; Siblings: Harry Sears and Margaret Sears- Bain.
Thomas leaves to cherish his memories, his only Son: Temple Sears and Daughter-in-law Nancy Sears; Grandchildren: Kiel (April), Natoiya, Temple 11, Temple 111 Sears and Tonya Sturrup; Great-grandchildren: Hasoun, Nasoun and Naveah Butler, Kionte, Kiel Jr. and Khalie Sears; Siblings: Sylvia Sears-Gibson, Una Sears-Flowers (Leon Flowers), Lunnon Henry Sears (Nellie Walker); Sister-in-law: Idamae Sears; Nieces: Nerissa Gibson, Netterkate Olurin, Gina Sears- Smith (Perry), Gigi Sears-Romer (Erskine), Ginger Sears- Poitier (Ashley), Donna Colby, Donna Flowers- Lefluer (Oral), Sherry, Carla and Catherine Flowers, Patrice Flowers-Pinder (Steve), Vanessa Flowers-Longeley (Kevin), Myra Albury (Charles), Natasha Sears-Fairweather, Lunnice Sears- Nicholson (Adrian), Clarice Sophia and Monica Sears; Nephews: Henry ( Frederica), Vandyke Ricardo (Nicara), Ruis, Lunnon (Denise), Julian Gibson (Sharmaine) Ivan (Matie), Dwayne and Dwight (Pauline) Sears, Bradley Flowers, Henry (Georgia) Lunnon, Lamaury Sears and Tyrone Sears; Thomas is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends including grand and great grand nieces and nephews, nephews, cousins including: Bernal Thompson and Family, Ayodele Olurin, The Ferguson Family of Miami Florida, The Evans and Hall Families of Exuma, The Harts Family, The Colebrooke Family, Pastor Timothy Stewart and Family including The Men’s Ministry of Bethel Baptist Church, Tyrone (Tabby) Murphy, Hiram Kelly, Isaac Rolle of San Diego, California and numerous friends in Tennessee.
Relatives and friends may pay their last respects in the “Jasper suite’ Rock of Ages Funeral Chapel located Wulff Road and Pinedale Streets on Thursday from 12:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the church on Friday from 9:00 a.m. to service time.
