Employers to face tougher mandate to hire people with disabilities
EMPLOYERS would face a significantly tougher mandate to hire people with disabilities under proposed changes to the country's disability law, with the threshold lowered to 50 workers and the required share effectively doubled from one percent to two percent.
Mitchell: We want a new Parliament building
FOREIGN Affairs and Public Service Minister Fred Mitchell said the government wants to construct a new Parliament building reflective of modern-day Bahamian culture that he hopes will be completed in the next three years.
