DPM reassures Exuma on mass cruise tourism
THE DEPUTY prime minister yesterday reassured his Exuma constituents that Royal Caribbean’s pending $3bn acquisition of 50 percent ownership in the Sandals resort chain will not expose the island to mass cruise tourism.
British Colonial Hotel expected to open on December 12
DEPUTY Prime Minister Chester Cooper said the British Colonial Hotel will open on December 12 with 288 renovated rooms, 300 Bahamian employees and 18,000 sq ft of meeting space.
