CCA hits back at court ruling over Baha Mar
A spokesperson for CCA Construction yesterday said the ruling by the New York Supreme Court that awarded Mr Izmirlian some $1.642bn was “wrongful” and the company will continue to have the decision overturned on appeal.

Sarkis Izmirlian and Baha Mar’s contractor traded further blows yesterday with the latter asserting the $1.6bn verdict against it “is by no means the last word” as it formally filed notice of its planned appeal.

Baha Mar’s main contractor perpetrated “an absolute sham and shakedown” on Sarkis Izmirlian while providing “phony” completion dates that ultimately cost his family $845m and ousted them from the project.
