Local airlines warn of 10 percent fare hike amid surging aviation fuel costs
Bahamian aviation operators yesterday warned travellers to brace for an up to 10 percent hike in air fares due to surging fuel costs with these increases set to be introduced “uniformly” by all carriers to prevent “making a mess of the marketplace”.
LPIA braces for holiday travel surge
Security patrols will be increased and unattended vehicles will be towed at Lynden Pindling International Airport as authorities prepare for a major surge in holiday travel over the next several days.
