Ministry defends strict public school hair rules
WHEN St Andrew’s International School posted photographs earlier this year of its Head Boy and Deputy Head Boy wearing braids and twists, the images fuelled a familiar debate over why one of the country’s prominent private schools could allow Black boys to wear natural hairstyles while public-school students remain subject to far stricter grooming rules.
