No end to deceipt by PLP government.

Remember the hoopla back in June when it was announced that effective July 1/15 that VAT was going to be charged on bridge tolls to P.I. and the subsequent public outcry which led to the PLP government postponing this policy. Well, guess what, if you pay the annual fee in advance for the bridge transponder, you have been charged VAT since January 1. I paid last October for a year for the transformer when VAT was not even in effect and on September 1/15 my transformer ceased to work. The explanation given by The Bridge Authority was that they have been charging VAT against my account since January 1/15 and hence I only get 10 months of bridge tolls instead of the 12 months I paid for. Pay cash for each toll and no VAT. Pay in advance annually for a transformer and add an extra 7.5%. The PLP say they are not charging VAT for all the workers to go to work on PI. Can you say discrimination and deceipt?
