Yes, sand does regenerate, but only over many, many tens of thousands of years.. certainly not within my lifetime. Oh, and it's also worth noting that our sand, unlike the sand in much of the rest of the world, is not silica based, and has little industrial value, so let's get real here. Time to do your homework folks
