A MAN was found shot dead last night in the latest murder to affect the country.

Police responded to reports of shots being fired in the Majors Road area of Yellow Elder Gardens at about 10.30pm to discover the body of a man on a service road.

The victim’s name has not yet been released.

Acting on information, police have already arrested three men in connection with the murder and are investigating whether it is connected with a murder that took place on Friday night.

Supt Stephen Dean urged anyone with information to contact police, and issued a warning to those taking part in crime. He warned criminals: “If you have not been visited by police yet, then you can expect that you soon will.”
