POLICE are investigating the discovery of a foetus abandoned in a garbage dumpster over the weekend.
The circumstances of the incident are still unclear, however, according to police reports, the discovery was made on Golden Isles road around 4pm on Sunday.
Investigating officers are appealing to members of the public who may have relevant information to call police on 919 or 322-3333/4; the Central Detective Unit on 502-9991 or 502-9910; or Crime Stoppers on 328-TIPS.
