A YOUNG man died on Friday afternoon after a motorcycle accident on Marathon Road, police have confirmed.
Police reported that shortly after 1pm, the man was riding a 450cc trail motorcycle when he struck a Toyota car driven by a woman who was trying to make a turn off Marathon Road.
The motorcyclist received serious injuries and was pronounced dead on the scene.
