EDITOR, The Tribune
Tribune Business on Thursday 13th August “Commercial Landlords Urged…” realtor David Morley tells the desperate story of where the country is today and perhaps portends where we are on the way to, on our current trajectory. To say that Commercial Real Estate has been gutted would be an understatement. Bay Street itself seems little better off than Cowpen Road.
And I recently heard of a competent Government Official being quoted as saying that Bay Street is mostly owned by white millionaires and they should do what they can to bring Bay Street back. Why should the Government? This from the wife of well-known Nassau hotel executive. So maybe this is why Government(s) have never been very interested in the success of Downtown Nassau. This is sadder than COVID-19.
