ROMAD Dean and the Crestwood Lions finished the Ontario Scholastic Basketball Association season as one of the top prep programmes in all of Canada.
Dean posted 24 points and 13 rebounds in an 84-73 loss to United Scholastic Academy in the OSBA Semifinals at Durham College in Oshawa, Canada.
United went on to finish as national runners-up after an 81-71 loss to Fort Eerie.
Crestwood defeated Victory Prep 106-85 in the play-in game.
Dean had a strong conclusion to the 2022 season and averaged 27.2 points per game as the Lions closed out the regular season 6-1.
The 6’7” wing was named an OSBA Third Team- All Star after averaging 20 points and 18 rebounds per game.
Some of his top games for the year included 28 points in a 97-89 win over Vanguard North Prep, 38 points in an 83-78 win over New Horizon Academy and 31 points in an early season 98-97 loss to United Scholastic.
