A WOMAN accused of stealing more than $7,000 while working at two Bamboo Shack locations last month was granted bail.
Prosecutors allege Faencia Cornish, 40, stole $3,555 from the Bamboo Shack on Nassau Street and another $3,764 from the restaurant’s Prince Charles Drive location during July.
Cornish pleaded not guilty to two counts of stealing by reason of employment before Senior Magistrate Kendra Kelly Burrows.
Her bail was set at $5,000 with one or two sureties.
Under the terms of her bail, Cornish was warned not to interfere with witnesses and was ordered to sign in at her local police station on the first Monday of every month.
Her trial is scheduled to begin on October 27.
Sergeant Vernon Pyfrom prosecuted the case.
